We know all women, especially moms, are powerful, influential people. We also know you are brilliant, creative and talented. You've definitely proven that with your answers this week.
For the final days of Cotton Babies Free Cloth Diaper Week, we want to see how you wield your influence. We want to know who you influence. Demonstrate it to us as you tell the world how much you love Cotton Babies.
The rules are fairly simple, if you can dream it and find a creative way to document and link proof of what you've done to us, it counts as an entry. The entry must reference cottonbabies.com, "Cotton Babies" or "Cotton Babies Free Cloth Diaper Week".
It can be as simple as a #FollowFriday hashtag @CottonBabies. It can be as creative as a poem posted online. Maybe you like to create humorous videos.
Let's not forget about your real life influences. These also count as long as you can creatively reference Cotton Babies and document it in a manner you can link to in our comments.
We're being purposefully vague because we don't want to put you in a box, we want to see the BEST of what you have to offer.
However you choose to enter, you must come back HERE to the blog and leave a comment with a link to your tweet, photo, blog or other online proof of sharing your Cotton Babies love with the world.
What's in it for you? We will randomly select 15 winners from all eligible entries to each receive a 6 pack of bumGenius 4.0 One Size Stay Dry cloth diapers!
One comment per entry. Duplicate entries of similar type (i.e. 20 identical tweets) will be disqualified. (No one likes spam!) Multiple creative entries are allowed, but they must be different and demonstrate your different spheres of influence.
Please remember to follow all FTC guidelines and note that you are entering a contest.
Contest runs Friday, September 10 through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, September 12. Randomly selected winners will be announced no later than 5 p.m. Monday, September 13.
What are you waiting for? Let your creative Genius shine!
Back in April I blogged about my decision to use cloth diapers. I referenced Cotton Babies in the text and also provided a link within the posting. I still have the link to Cotton Babies on the side bar of my blog. Here is the link:

I showed a woman some bumGenius today. She was blown away by the cute and easy cloth diapering of these "modern times" (her kids are long grown and gone). It was fun to get to demonstrate because cloth diapering has become something of a hobby for me!
ReplyDeleteJust a few days ago, I added EconoBum and Flip diapers to the products list on Green Options and gave both 5-star reviews.

I blogged about cloth diapering a couple of years ago when I first started with my first son. I wanted people to be aware of all the options out there that are available that many moms aren't aware of. Of course, I linked cottonbabies - they're the best cloth sellers around! http://juliesyarn.blogspot.com/2008/03/my-newest-obsession.html
ReplyDeleteI already posted my early #FF on twitter.com/kikiandkyle (ps follow me!). Will have some additional entries (screenpics of reviews I've written) once I'm home!
ReplyDeleteMy very good friend, Autumn E., lives in South Africa and I convinced her to cloth diaper her little one. She ordered all of her CDs (12-14 Elemental AIOs) from Cotton Babies because I told her you have the absolute best customer service!
ReplyDeleteI also have a link to your store in my siggy on DS and I am an avid poster!

I am a mom, and a doula. I am so passionate about cloth diapering that I am now offering a (free) monthly cloth diapering workshop, to help educate new parents about modern cloth diapers. I'd love to win some new 4.0s to include in my workshop! My website can be found here: http://alyselangedoula.webstarts.com/
ReplyDelete(A cotton babies link is listed on the favorite products page, and the workshops are held at a retailer that carries cotton babies diapers). My facebook page can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kalamazoo-MI/Alyse-Lange-Postpartum-Doula/133077766706811?ref=search

I tell all of my "mama" friends about Cotton Babies. You are, by far, the best resource that I have found in my hours of researching.
I talked about how great it was to sleep five hours without a diaper change because of our BG June 15th on facebook...

I started out using BG 1.0s!
ReplyDeleteI have four friends that have started cloth diapering after seeing our beautiful cottonbabies diapers! They all love your products and use them every day.
Here's a blog post I did a few months back about cloth diapering, at the end of which I note that I use BG Elementals for my daughter:
http://nearinghome.blogspot.com/2010/01/cloth-diapering-101.html
I have several friends with babies and husbands in grad school who have been interested in cloth diapering. I LOVE to tell them what I know. I've sent plenty of emails full of info and links, given tours of my diaper stash (probably a little too enthusiastically), but my "proof" would have to be a blog post I did in July that is pretty much a bumGenius commercial :)

I am always thrilled when another mom wants to talk cloth! It influences the other moms around us who are unaware of how easy and great cloth diapering is. BG's are my absoulte favorite, as is Cotton Babies. You should have read the e-mail I wrote to my sister who wants to buy some diapers for a freind! It was like I was on your payroll:0) Your contest reminded me it was time for another cloth plug on my blog. I truly LOVE cloth diapers!

ReplyDeleteI am not much of a blogger.. actually learned what it really was this week!!!!
ReplyDeleteI do talk to everyone I know or meet that has or is expecting little ones!!!!
I now have TWO in your diapers.. started with one.. switched a husband and brother.. now I wash every day.. but totally worth it!!!!!!
I switched my NON- meat eating cousin to switch her NON-healthy diapers... I have talked a few peoples' ears off.. I like to give gifts to new expecting mothers by giving them a new diaper or a GENTLY used diaper for them to try... Have given out your address many times... as to match the questions about the cute diapers!!!
I do have a link on my profile currently, Michelle Pederson.
I hope I can still be considered even though I am a bit computer deficient!!!!
Thanks for the chance to enter your wonderful contest!!
I created a Shutterfly share site to celebrate Cotton Babies and Free Cloth Diaper Week. I am posting about my share site on your facebook page, in hopes that it will bring Cotton Babies fans together to share photos of their babies in your diapers, discuss their favorite Cotton Babies products, and maybe even convince some newbies to get started with cloth! ReplyDeleteBack in February, I wrote a very detailed blog post about cloth diapering. When I talk about BumGenius 3.0 pocket diapers, I reference and link to Cotton Babies.

It's actually pretty exciting, because my blog post opened a lot of my friends eyes to how easy cloth diapering can be. I have one convert that I know of.
I write for Examiner.com and last year I did a post on creating a cloth diaper gift basket for new moms! http://www.examiner.com/baby-toddler-gear-in-honolulu/gift-basket-under-45-cloth-diaper-kit I mentioned Cotton Babies and linked to two of their products; I love them and got all of my cloth diaper supplies for my baby there.
ReplyDeleteI brought my diapers (mostly BG) to a family reunion this summer and today my SIL called and told me she had bought some and is using CD on her 2 year old and planning for her upcoming baby!!! I was so excited!

I just started CDing my 2 kiddos (4mo old and 2yr old) only 3 weeks ago. Since then, I have "converted" 3 other mommies to cloth! I sent all 3 to the MO CBs store and even took one along with myself to your Cloth Diapering 101 class. I rave about Flips and BGs. I even did a cloth diaper demo for my friend that doesn't have even have children yet(because she inquired about my drying rack of hanging diapers in the middle of my kitchen when she was over!)!
ReplyDeleteYour website and store are such great resources and I owe my conversion to you all, you made it easy and seamless. BTW, the ladies that work at your MO store are awesome! They have been a huge help and support to me and really took the time to show me all my options and even helped me dig through the seconds bins!
This is how I started a 21 comments discussion on my FB wall....a drying rack with mostly Flips and BGs hanging on it. I referrenced CBs store and website in that discussion :)

Here's a real life one, harder to prove but I can give you a name and phone number if you really want it. I gave 2 new Bumgenius 4.0 to a friend who is expecting her first in December and was inquiring about cloth diapers. She was looking at the Kushies brand so I wanted to show her a better way. I got her a buttercream 4.0 in aplix and a grasshopper 4.0 in snaps.

When my newborn was in the NICU for the first month of his life, I tried to get the nurses to allow me to cloth diaper him. At first they were hesitant ("Isn't that a bit gross? Or unsanitary?") but they finally let us use cloth during the day while we were there. And then one nurse saw how easy it was and said she would use them during her night shifts (we just had them bring in an extra soiled linens cart, and we brought them back to the Ronald McDonald house every other night to wash)... and then she told another nurse about it and she agreed too. And then another nurse, and another! Soon he was solely in cloth diapers! It was a great feeling when we left the hospital and the nurses thanked us to opening their minds about cloth diapering, and would offer the choice to other NICU families! It was so great to make a difference!
ReplyDelete(I didn't see my original post, so I tried posting it again!)
As a young mother of a six month old, people really cannot believe that I have gone "stone-age" with cloth diapers! They all think that sposies are the best thing around. I have made it my goal to teach all of them that not only are the safest for baby, they are great fashion! I love to photograph my little man in his BG's! Taking care of his diapers is so easy now, especially with products from Cotton Babies like the diaper sprayer, that keep you from sticking your hands in the toilet! Check out my adorable man showing off the BG's in a photo shoot!

Well, I haven't really used the internet to do it, but I told both of my SILs about cottonbabies products and a good friend and all 3 are now using Bum Genius products (My one SIL is using the BG 3.0s I got for her shower, the other is using ecobum covers and my friend is using Flip). When I got the email about diaper giveaway week, I forwarded it to all three. I couldn't link it, so I copy and pasted the header below. Also, I did my persuasive online discussion for my English course on cloth diapering and I talked about how I used BG3.0s and how easy it is to use cloth diapers. Anyhow, I discussed the pros and cons about cloth diapering online in my course, but it is a locked community for my school, so I can't really link to that.

My daughter wore her bubble elemental to the doctors office and the nurse thought they were great and wrote down Bumgenius to search for later on the Internet.
ReplyDeleteJust sent this message to my cousin on FB a week ago after her seeing all my cloth diaper posts:
ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't get a chance to do this last night! I know you are originally from Orlando, but remind me where you are at now? The best way I know of to start cding, is to get your hands on the diapers and really try a few before investing in a ton. Give me your town and I will try to find you a CD retailer or mama that you can connect with.
It sounds like you would def save money by switching to cloth if you are going through 10 diapers a day. It also sounds like an AI2 (all-in-two) diaper would be awesome for you to cut down on laundry w/ that many diaper changes. What that means is basically, you will have a diaper cover (which can be used multiple times as long as poo does not get on it) w/ inserts. You simply take the soiled inserts out and put a new one in when done. The cheapest AI2 that I know of is the Flip by Cottonbabies that I was telling you about earlier. It's a great deal for the money (you would prob want about 3 kits to be able to wash one load every other day, but that would cost you $150 brand new. I'm sure you are already spending about $100 a month on disposables if you are going through 10 diapers a day). Other AI2 diapers to check out would be the Gro-Via Hybrid and BumEssentials Bumbino.
Did you check out my blog link to "Cloth Diapering 101"?

I have a buddy who used BG 3.0s but stopped when the velcro wore out. I noticed he was in disposables and asked what happened? (we always chatted it up hwo we loved BG's) - she told me she didn't have money to buy whole new stash. I told her to try the new FLIP stay dry (which she had NOT heard of) and showed her our son's diapers - she then bought two day packs and loves them now. She was able to sell her BG 3.0's to a mom who is savvy enough to sew on new velcro :)
ReplyDeleteI recently just sent a huge message to a friend who was just starting out with cloth diapers.

I found a mom looking for someone with cloth diapering experience (which she had never met anyone who had used cloth!). I told her immediately about CottonBabies and she was so thrilled with my great reviews that she decided to buy a whole stash for her little girl who is due next month. I was so happy to be able to provide her with such useful information, and it is all because of CottonBabies. Thank you for making such wonderful diapers!! :)

They are easy to use, with a variety of cute colors, and I have personally been using them for two years. When you cloth diaper you help keep disposables out of the landfills for hundreds of years to come and you keep chemicals off your kids bums. What's not to love??? :)"

I will try to think of a cute way to turn someone to cloth, but all I can think about is this somewhat negitive trip I just got back from. A two week trip to see my family a few states away. I brought my cloth, no disposables at all, my grandma who I stayed with and who cloth diapered three kids, really didnt like me doing this. She thought my nice pocket dipes were complicated, she didnt like my rocking soap which doesnt leave a smell to the clean dipes, nothing was good enough and there was a smell to the laundry room when you first dump the pail to wash or open it. She even bought disposables, I used about 8 only because lil man almost always does his once daily at the same time of day. I hope she calms down on it, because we will be back at Christmas and we will have cloth still.
ReplyDeleteI guess that is my 'influence' I am going to do it even if no one really supports me in it. My mom was 'ok' with it by the time I left, and maybe eventually I will at least convince my germaphobe cousin with a 6mo that cloth really isnt that gross "ew I wouldn't want poop in my washer".

When I was converting to cloth, the reviews on Cotton Babies and other websites were instrumental in helping me decide which products to try. So, after I tried your products, I left reviews on your site in hopes of helping other mamas make purchasing decisions. One product I reviewed is the BG 4.0: http://www.cottonbabies.com/product_info.php?cPath=98&products_id=2424 (reviewed by Lindsey 08/07/2010). Of course, you all have access to my account, so you can easily see all the reviews I've done for your fantastic products! I'm registered as lindsey_bunton at yahoo dot com. :)

I have a blog dedicated to just cloth diapers. I started it because when people heard I was using cloth (I was the first of my friends to have kids) they were curious what it was all about. Originally I was writing extensivly long individual emails. Then shortly after the new year, I was up until 2 AM writing one of those extensive emails when I decided to put all the info into a blog. Since then I get emails from friends of friends wanting information on cloth. I will still write an individual email but link them back to what I have already written on my blog. It is a great feeling knowing that I am helping other moms to become successful with cloth through the discoveries I have made in the last 3 years.
ReplyDeleteSpecifically my blog references and recommends Cotton Babies over and over again, with a link on the side to your store. The last post I made was about your seconds sale. http://savecashusecloth.blogspot.com/
I just sent a facebook message yesterday afternoon to my soon to be mommy friends encouraging them to check into cloth diapers for thier babies. Here is a reply that I sent back last night to one of the women. Hopefully this counts! I don't need anymore diapers, I've got plenty, but I would love to win and pass this prize on to one of these new mothers!
ReplyDeleteI must say, it's really nice to just wash his diapers and reuse them. I love staying away from Wal-Mart as much as possible, and it seemed like I was buying boxes of diapers all of the time! I love knowing that he doesn't have any chemicals on his bottom when he's in cloth, and that I'm not throwing anything away! I wash diapers every other day, so it's really not too bad! You might need to wash every day depending on how many diapers you would buy. Have you done any research? It's pretty overwhelming at first, but much easier when you talk to someone who uses them! I use bumgenius 3.0 (they are now 4.0). They are a pocket diaper, which means that it comes with a microfiber insert that is stuffed into the pocket of the actual diaper. You can put in as much stuffing as you may need, according to your baby. Mine have a velcro closure, so they are as easy as disposables. They are also available in a snap closure. These diapers adjust sizes and the same diaper can be used from 8-35lbs. I have a few other types that I use as well, but it's mainly the 3.0. www.bumgenius.com is a very helpful website as well as http://www.cottonbabies.com/. Please let me know when you'll be around town again, I would love to show you what I've got and help you decide what may work best for you!

Hey! :) I personally favor the bumGenius. It seems to be our trusty "workhorse" diaper with the least amount of leaks. I like the pockets (don't have a 4.0 yet, but they're supposed to be better than the 3.0 that I do have) and the sized AIO bumGenius.

An acquaintance of mine recently asked if she could come over and talk to me about baby stuff (she's due in a few months). It turned out that she wanted to ask my opinion on cloth diapers since she knows I used and love them! I showed her all the stuff I have (bumGenius, econobum, and Flip) and gave her a little pep talk about cloth diapering. I recommended that when she decides what she wants she should buy it on cottonbabies.com because it's got the best prices. I recently heard that she decided to use BG 4.0's!!

I register free diapers on Freecycle to encourage other people to go cloth! I always, always include a Bum Genius with them because they are so easy! Most moms seriously tell me that Bum Genius is their favorite, too. :) Can you blame them?
ReplyDeleteI was actually convinced to use cloth diapers myself by a couple of influential cloth diapering mamas! I have two good friends who use cloth, one who uses prefolds and covers and one who uses bumGenius. I thought cloth was old fashioned and a big pain, but after seeing how easy it was for them I decided to take the plunge. Now I have 16 BG 3.0's, a bunch of prefolds and Bummis covers, and some new Econobum and Flip covers (which I LOOOOVE). Now I share the cloth love wherever I go and I am always trying to convince people to do it! I got my sister-in-law to try it out and she fell in love with the bumGenius 4.0's (and ordered them from cotton babies like I recommended). I also have lots of conversations about it with people in public since they are interested to see a baby in cloth out and about (I guess it doesn't happen often for a lot of people). I always recommend cottonbabies.com as the place to buy diapers because of great prices, occasional awesome clearance sales, and free shipping!

I suggested my friend should use cloth diapers when she and her husband adopted twins. I recommended BumGenius by Cotton Babies to her since they are so easy - and easy is good when you have twins!
ReplyDeleteWhen we first decided to use cloth I kind of became obsessive about researching the exact perfect kind of cloth diaper for us. I took a chance on the Flip and have LOVED it ever since (we also use BG 4.0s at night). On our blog, I made a post when my baby was 3 months old giving shameless plugs to products that I can't live without: http://bierfaili.wordpress.com/2010/06/16/shameless-plugs/. It's the only post on our blog that isn't private because I wanted anyone that was searching to be able to find it. Fluff Party!
ReplyDeleteJust this week I gathered 7 mama's, either expecting babies soon, currently doing cloth or wanting to do cloth diapering. I made a simple brunch for them, left the children to play in the yard and we gathered around a table in the yard filled with different types of cloth diapers. Everyone shared their love of cloth diapering and what worked for their little the best. The new mamas asked questions and we were able to answer their questions and encourage them cloth diaper. I called it my Fluff Party and it was a success!
This is a great way to see what all us stay-at-home and working mama's are really about. Cloth diapers is so much more than just saving the environment and money. It becomes a passion for us. I started just a year ago and knew of one other mama that did cloth diapering. Now a year later so many of my friends have been inspired by me to explore cloth diapering for their little ones. I never set out to convince or inspire others, I just love doing it myself and other mama's can see that love.
Here is the link to my invite and our cloth diapering discussion ....

I really do love our cloth diapers!... I definitely prefer the bumgenius! ... We have the one-size diapers, which means you need to stuff the inserts into the shells after washing, but they still fit Parker, who's having a hard time potty training. It's fantastic to not have to ever buy diapers, no matter how the kids are growing. They're also big enough to fit a few doublers in with the regular insert for extra night time absorbency. ... We've loved the bumgenius! cotton babies (www.cottonbabies.com) also sells a sprayer that you can attach to the toilet to spray poo off of diapers as the kids get bigger. We've never had any problems with the diapers coming clean, and our washer comes out clean as well. We bought the additive free detergent at Costco, as well. The bumgenius are just as easy to use as disposables, although they are bulkier in the diaper bag. We just bought a reusable zipper wet bag so that we don't have to carry a plastic bag around in our diaper bag. As far as how many to get, it probably depends on how often your baby urinates and poos a day... I'd probably recommend 12, so that you have enough to wash and still have some to put on the baby. More diapers also means less wear and tear on them. My kids definitely prefer the cloth to anything else. cotton babies is having a seconds sale right now, selling diapers with cosmetic defects, for $12... (http://www.cottonbabies.com/index.php?cPath=51) Bumgenius, Flip, and Econobum diapers also come with a 30 day satisfaction guarantee (http://www.cottonbabies.com/index.php?cPath=140). Our only regret with the diapers is that we didn't switch sooner! I still like the econobum, which are much less expensive, but they're not nearly as convenient, and are a little less comfy for the boys. The velcro on the bumgenius can leave irritation on the kids' legs if baby's just wearing a diaper and the velcro isn't on straight, but we haven't had any big problems. Honestly, the boys do spend a considerable amount of time just in their diapers!!!
I hope I answered your questions, despite the rambling nature of my email. I could talk about cloth diapers forever! We really do love them, and from everyone I've talked to, bumgenius are the best! Other diapers have comparable prices for comparable products, but they're not as good! You can go less expensive, but you might run into more hassle. The econobum aren't bad, but since you're starting with a newborn (or still pretty young) you'll definitely get your money's worth out of the 4.0s, or even the 3.0s on the seconds sale!
I facebook'd the event and tagged CottonBabies in my status. I also put the link to this blogpost!
ReplyDeleteI blogged about using cloth diapers while vacationing. I try to encourage and promote cloth diapering wherever I go and it can be done AWAY from home just as easily as using disposables. I wrote this so other Mom's would not choose disposable just because they were on vacation. I don't have a diaper sprayer at home and so it was a cinch not using one while traveling.

ReplyDeleteI talked about Cotton Babies Free Cloth Diaper Week on my Facebook status: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=15930009
ReplyDeleteThis is a different way I shared Cotton Babies with people I love--outside of the bounds of the internet!
ReplyDeleteI am a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Coordinator for Grace Community Chapel in St. Peters, Missouri. Last year, our MOPS theme dealt with "Life on Planet Mom", in keeping with that idea I wanted to have a day about how we could go "green" as moms. Part of my idea for the day was to share about modern cloth diapering! I was able to contact Cotton Babies and talk with KC Brandt about sending a rep to speak to our group. On October 13th, 2009, two wonderful ladies from Cotton Babies spoke to our group of 50 moms. They not only showed us the different diapers--including the new Econobum and Flip diapers (I was so thrilled to get to see them!), they also gave out great information, very nice books about BG diapers, and showed us several other great baby products including a wrap and Sophie!
At the end of our meeting, several moms bought diapers and were really excited to try them! The meeting got a great response, even from our mentors (older women who help with our group), who couldn't wait to tell their daughters and friends about how different cloth is now!
I was so excited to share the bumGenius brand with my moms and I think, more than anything, they came away with an idea of how awesome Cotton Babies is as a company. One thing that impressed our group more than anything was how Cotton Babies got started and how they do diaper donations to missionaries, etc. This was really special to several of our moms, as they have served or have families that serve in a missions field.
I had loved Cotton Babies for awhile, but after that morning, I was smitten! I couldn't believe that Cotton Babies took time out of a busy work schedule to drive, bring products, and speak to my group--all for free! I truly think that the most effective sharing of cloth diapering begins with one mom sharing with another and Cotton Babies proved that they are a personal, loving company who wants to reach each individual family about the importance and ease of cloth diapering!
Thanks again for speaking to my group and allowing me to share you with my MOPS "world"!
I talked about your wonderful site, store, and staff on my blog at:

ReplyDeleteI wrote a post about nighttime cloth diapering featuring your sock insert. I think it gets overlooked and it's a perfect inexpensive solution to making any insert soft and stay dry.

I do not have a blog (yet), facebook, or twitter, but I did write a review on the Cotton Babies website for BG 3.0s. I hope this counts...I really do love BG 3.0s from Cotton Babies, and can't wait to add the BG 4.0s to my stash.

I love my BG 3.0 so much that I cringe at the thought of using disposable diapers now. I used disposables on my first two children, but with my third baby I really wanted to try cloth diapers. She is now 8 months old and there is no turning back. We use them all day everyday, even at night and just add an extra insert (she sleeps 12 hours). My husband is even on board. I have converted my sister too, who is due with her first baby in December. Now I have my eye on the BG 4.0. Can't wait to add a few of those to my stash one day.
In addition to sending my pregnant friends extensive emails and talking at length about my beloved BumGeniuses (hey, they asked!), I recently blogged about cloth diapers:

(I am having trouble posting this comment; I only mean to post it once.)
ReplyDeleteHey, I already did this years ago! I wrote a "Cloth Diapering Manifesto" on my blog. It's in four parts, but part II (describing diaper types) links to CottonBabies.com, as does Part IV (describing diapering accessories).

I just sold some used Cottonbaby prefolds on ebay - my baby's growing so fast!. In my listing, I posted a link to your site and commented on how much we loved those diapers:

I also just Tweeted about your giveaway!
ReplyDelete@DocMaureen Hey everyone. @Cottonbabies is doing a free diapers week, and I love me some BumGenius diapers! #ff @cottonbabies
I also like to comment on other people's blogs about cloth diapers. Here's one I posted over at http://alphamom.com/pregnancy/cloth-diapers-again-more/#comments when there was talk of buying new diapers or having BumGeniuses converted to snaps because the velcro wore out:
ReplyDelete"Guys! You can buy BG refresher kits for A BUCK FIFTY. You get new velcro and elastic pieces. If your velcro wears out before it’s been a year (another good reason to wait to buy them until you’re actually going to use them), SEND THEM BACK AND GET NEW DIAPERS. I just had 15 of my BumGenius 3.0s replaced for FREE because the velcro wore out. And I do mean replaced: soft, sparkly, brand new diapers. For the two diapers that I couldn’t find the receipts for I bought new velcro (and it’s their New velcro) for THREE DOLLARS total. Guys. One hundred and fifty cents per diaper to replace the velcro and elastic is way cheaper than new diapers. And it comes with really detailed instructions and a template for sewing. Sorry for all the CAPS LIKE WHOA; I get a little emotional about cloth diapers.

ReplyDeleteHere, I wrote an article a few months ago about why cloth diapering makes sense and I broke down the different types, washing, environmental studies etc. I also said that my favorite place to buy was Cotton Babies and I referenced Bum Genius as well. Love Cotton babies and Bum Genius!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I had SO many emails of people wanting to switch or who read my post and decided to switch. That is an awesome feeling, knowing that I've influenced someone to do something good for their babies and the environment!
