Real Mom Talk: Little Leprechauns

Does St. Patrick's Day having you talking leprechauns and mischief in your house? As I consider my own three little leprechauns, I'm remembering some of their more mischievous moments from the last year...

There was the slamming open, and subsequent shattering, of our sliding glass door...

Of course, the baby in the flour bin incident...

Baby finding a new way to go down museum steps...

Several incidents of hamper-wearing (yes, those are two different kids!)...

And someone... I'm not sure who, but someone... took a good swipe of icing off of my birthday cake when no one was looking...

And these are just what I have pictures of! There's all of the furniture climbing, food sneaking, tricking us into giving them treats and other such (mostly) harmless mischief that they love.

What is the most mischievous thing one of your kids has done this past year?

  1. Baby in the flour is my ultimate favorite, I'm a little jealous he gets to do that and look so cute!

  2. We have a shelf in the kitchen where we keep jars of sugar, macaroni, rice, and lentils. My youngest (20 months) recently discovered that he can take the lids off and if you reach in, grab a handful of rice and throw it on the floor is makes a REALLY funny sound (at least to him-I just hear mess being made). It hard to tell him "no" because he thinks it is so funny and just belly laughs every time he does it. So I will be moving the jars instead. :)
