ReplyDeleteHmm- hot summer days I've heard of them but in Alaska they're few and far between. :) But on vacation we resort to using the A/C!
ReplyDeleteWe stay cool by drinking a LOT of water and taking breaks to come inside and "chill". We do tummy time on the floor in front of a fan. Papa and baby get to take their shirts off....lucky boys!

ReplyDeleteWe go to the pool, and do lots of activities at home with ice. One of my favorites are iceberg treasure hunts, which I make by freezing small toys in a bowl filled with water. I give the kids salt, warm water and various other tools to dig them out with.

ReplyDeleteCan't do anything outside with a newborn in this St. Louis heat! If we want to go out we do it early before it get's too hot but we mainly beat the heat by staying inside!
